This section exists to provide the information and resources members and their families need to promote and maintain readiness within the Indiana Air National Guard.  Family readiness has a direct impact on morale and retention of our members, and on the unit's overall mission readiness.  During times of crisis, effective family readiness programs pay significant dividends in terms of family and unit member morale.  Indiana Air National Guard members will perform their best if their families are well prepared for deployments.
Purpose
The purpose of the 181st Intelligence Wing's Family Readiness Group is to empower, educate, and support our service members and their families.  The Readiness Program is a special program designed to enhance National Guard readiness, retention, and quality of life, as well as minimize the impact to families of deployed personnel.  The Readiness Program makes families aware of their importance to the National Guard and its mission.  It also notifies families of available benefits, entitlements, and services.
Goals
1.  Maintain a support network for the 181st Intelligence Wing members and their families.
2. Assure that every guard member and their family/friend are prepared for times of deployment/separations and reunion.

3.  Provide training and education to family and unit members regarding the Family Programs and the resources available to them.
Vision
To maintain a fully functioning family member chain of concern working with a fully supportive military chain of command to enhance the readiness and wellness of both.
Mission
Our mission is to assist  families of members of the 181st Intelligence Wing during peacetime and times of training or mobilization.
